A Merry Little Christmas....I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! We had a fun one with lots of sweet little smiling faces! It was Dylan's first Christmas and he caught on to opening presents very quickly! Sadly, we could not go home to California to see our parents this year, but my sweet mama sent me the most wonderful box full of vintage treasures! A tinted photo of three adorable brothers...some gorgeous vintage jewelry...
lovely vintage silver...(such pretty designs!)
this beautiful vintage tablecloth... (love the colors!)a pretty embroidered runner...a sweet dolly....and my favorite, this amazing vintage quilt!!!I have always loved the Grandmother's Garden design and have wanted one for sooo long!
It has the softest pastel colors!
Look at all that hand stitching! I can't imagine how much work and time it took to make these kind of wonderful old quilts.
I'm such a lucky girl! Hope you got some fun gifts and enjoyed Christmas day with your loved ones!

Happy finds...I forgot to show you this cute shelf! It's one of my birthday presents I found at the antique mall. It's the perfect vintage shade of aqua blue. I am using it in my studio to hold some favorite things~ vintage hats, millinery flowers and my newest find, this adorable baby doll head! I have been wanting one for so long! Doesn't she have the sweetest, prettiest face?Oops! I just remembered I forgot Vintage Christmas Monday! I'll try to remember next week.

Happy Christmas!
I love my pink Christmas decor, but before that I loved the traditional Christmas red, too. And I still do! So although the rest of my home has pastels, I decided to decorate my hutch with the reds this year because I love my snowman collection and they just don't blend in with the pastels. One of my favorite snowmen, glittered village houses, snowy pine cones and bottle brush trees, one of my Teena Flanner snowmen, (I have loved her work since I first saw it in Mary Engelbriet's magazine!)another adorable snow guy, sweet home made looking ornaments, and vintage tinsel! I love the vintage, home made country Christmas look just as much as I love the pastels. What colors do you love for Christmas?
